All but UK Table Wine have to go through a testing and tasting procedure before they can be labelled. There are four different categories of still English Wine. You can identify which one of the categories a wine belongs to by reading the label on the bottle.
English Vineyards Quality Wine - made from one of the approved varieties and has passed the Quality Wine Scheme. Roughly a third of wine is classified as Quality Wine.
English Counties Regional Wine - essentially a table wine (like the French Vin de Pays), but has passed the Regional Wine Scheme and does bot have to bear the 'Table Wine' label.
English Table Wine - made from one of the approved varieties but is not a Regional Wine or a Quality Wine.
UK Table Wine - made from UK grown grapes where the grape variety used is bot an approved one.

I like the colour and theme of the webpage. I am a bit confuse that u want a comment on ur webpage or ur research proposal ahh..
ReplyDeleteI think if you want to promote the place, you should concern abt marketing 4Ps..on the website, should have attractive tourism packages, activities they can enjoy here.
find the selling point of your place, use more photo to attact the customers, not too wordy and rather use simple words for customer who doesn't know much abt wine to understand.
As ppl concern abt health, u can give information on the health benefit of drinking right amouth of wine, or recomend which type of wine go well with different types of foods that would either increase the appretize or digest etc..
advertizing websit mainly contain what you want to sell but also can have some brifly info about wine to persuade customers to come.
Good luck naja^^
cool tofeenut.... but just would like to know wich kind of grape is used Merlot? Shiraz? etc.... and how long is been aged, i preety much doesnt understand much about wine, but i think the page laks about the basics of the Wine offer, and since is a tourism page it would be interesting to include the offer of activities available there, like procesing your own wine, or visit and se the whole procees, or just tasting. there is a page of a vineyard from my country, the wine is really "bad" but is a fun trip just going there and see the process and see the landscapes.
